Make sure you have designed your site for optimal viewing by the majority of your visitors. Over 75% of my visitors use Internet Explorer version 6 at a screen resolution of 1024X768.

There should not be horizontal scrolling at either 800X600 or 1024X768. Horizontal scrolling is a nuisance and can quickly drive viewers to other sites.
