Chameleon's Eye Privacy Policy

I respect and am committed to protecting your privacy. That is why I have adopted this Privacy Policy designed to  let you know how your personal information is processed and used.

Information that is collected and how it is collected

Every computer connected to the Internet is given a domain name and a set of numbers, which serve as that computer's Internet Protocol Address or "IP ADDRESS".  The domain name and IP address reveal nothing personal about you other than the IP address from which you have accessed the site. I use this information to examine my traffic in aggregate, but do not collect and evaluate this information for individuals. I do not record e-mail addresses of the visitors.  Guestbook entries are public by nature, unless you check the box labeled "private". This action is discouraged, but available. I do not collect personal information from you unless you provide it to me. This means that you can visit my site without telling me who you are or revealing any personally identifiable information about yourself.

"COOKIES" are small pieces of data that are sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer's hard drive. A cookie can't read data off your hard disk or read cookie files created by other sites. Cookies do not damage your system.

You can choose whether to accept cookies by changing the settings of your browser. You can reset your browser to refuse all cookies, or allow your browser to show you when a cookie is being sent.

Other information requested

I may also request your e-mail address for the purposes of conducting a survey or when you leave feedback.  Whenever I request the identity of a visitor, I will clearly indicate the purpose of the inquiry before the information is requested. I maintain a  "No-Spam" policy that means I do not sell, rent, or otherwise give your e-mail address to a third-party, without your consent.

Wherever I collect personal information I make an effort to include a link to this Privacy Policy on that page.

How it is used

When you supply information about yourself for a specific purpose, I use the information for only that purpose (such as to provide the service or information you have requested). If you provide feed back about the website, it may be  made public, but your personal and/or contact information will not be divulged unless you are a business or you give your consent.

Third parties disclosure

I will disclose personal information when required by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to conform to the law, identify persons who may be violating the law, or to cooperate with the investigations of purported unlawful activities.

I link to a wide variety of other sites and contain advertisements of third parties. I am not responsible for their privacy policies or how they treat information about their users. I do not share any of the individual personal information you provide me with the sites to which I link.

Please check with those sites to determine their privacy policy.
