Name Translation: of tranvaal
Synonyms: Chamaeleo pumilus transvaalensis
Discovered: Fitzsimons, 1930
Size: small  20  cm or 8 inches
Sexual Dimorphism: Males have a yellow stripe bordered in maroon from the head to the Flank
Parity: Ovoviviparous
Description:  These have a modest casque and noticeable cranial crest. They possess large gular and dorsal crests.
